Meet the ArtistI’m Nicole LeBlanc, the artist and jewelry designer behind Crown of Grace Designs, created from my studio in the heart of Cajun country in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana.My work grew from a love of antique devotional jewelry—the beautifully worn medals, crosses, and sacred pieces that have carried stories of faith from one generation to the next. I’m especially drawn to French and European devotional pieces from the 1800s and early 1900s, searching for originals with unusual shapes, intricate details, and a sense of history that deserves to be preserved.  Each antique in my collection is carefully molded so that the character of the original remains—the softened details, tiny imperfections, and evidence of age that make these pieces so beautiful. I hand press bronze clay into those molds and kiln fire each piece at 1,420°F before finishing it individually in my signature Baroque light gold finish: a soft, matte golden surface with the raised details carefully polished to catch the light.I  pair these recreated antique pieces with substantial chains, Art Nouveau-inspired elements, etched findings, pearls, and hand-set stones to create jewelry that feels both historic and remarkably wearable today. Nothing I make is intended to look perfectly machine-made. I want you to see the hand of the artist and the character of the antique from which it came. Those small variations are part of what makes each piece uniquely its own.For me, these designs are more than jewelry. They are little pieces of history—symbols of faith, hope, protection, and devotion that have endured for generations. My hope is to preserve that beauty and give these meaningful old designs a new life, so they can once again be worn, treasured, and eventually passed down. Crown of Grace Designs is where age old devotion meets modern artistry.
